Lay This Day Into Your Care (Evening Christian)

As the stars appear in the evening sky, we pause to thank You for Your faithfulness all day long. [Verse 1] The sun descends behind the hill, We count the blessings of the day, Our racing thoughts grow calm and still, As all our worries fade away. [Spoken Interlude] Close your eyes knowing He watches over you while you sleep. [Chorus] Thank You for the day we've known, For every kindness, seed, and meal, Keep us safe till morning comes, And let our resting hearts be still. [Outro] We lay this day into Your care, And sleep in peace beneath Your love.
